Weekly Witterings #10

on 08/11/2014

1. I seem to have developed a reputation at work for making graduates coffee addicts. Not sure if that is a bad thing or not…

2. Some friends went to Cadbury World and bought me this. It was yummy!

4. I had the pool all to myself or most of my swim on Friday. I did 70 lengths . I miss got make my goal of a mile by the end of November which is about 90 lengths.

5. I went to see the poppy art installation at the Tower of London on Saturday. It is awesome! I think this is my favourite photo.

6. We had lots of random coffee time conversations at work this week. They ranged from “do vests have sleeves?”, classification of animals, whales in particular, to how was Guy Fawkes killed. That led to a discussion on what being hung, draw and quartered involved, and that led to a conversation on the fact that you could still be hung for treason or piracy in the UK till 1998. Maybe we should drink less coffee…
